Effective September 24, 2026
- There's no account. We don't know who you are.
- Your aims, progress, lists and flashcards are stored on your iPhone, not on our servers.
- Anonymous usage statistics (which features are used — never what's in your widgets), which you can turn off in Settings. No advertising, no tracking across apps or websites.
- AI features (Pro) run only when you tap them. The text needed for that request is processed and not stored by us.
- Apple Health and Calendar are read on your device. We never use Health data for advertising and never sell any data.

Who we are
WidgetAim (“the app”) is an iPhone app published by AimPoly (“we”, “us”). This policy covers the app, its widgets, and this website, widgetaim.com. If you have a question about it, write to support@widgetaim.com.
Data stored on your device
Everything you create in WidgetAim — aims, titles, targets, dates, progress entries, list items, flashcards, widget styles and settings — is stored locally on your iPhone, in storage shared only between the WidgetAim app and its own widgets. It is not sent to us, and we have no copy of it.
- Device backups. Like other app data, it may be included in your iPhone's iCloud or computer backups, under your Apple ID settings. We can't access those backups.
- Export file. Settings → Back up & restore creates a backup file that you save wherever you choose. It stays under your control.
- Random installation ID. The app generates a random identifier and keeps it on your device. It isn't linked to you and isn't sent anywhere. (It is separate from the statistics ID described below.)
Deleting the app deletes this data from your device.
AI features (Pro)
Some Pro features use a large language model: setting up a widget from a sentence, filling a form from a sentence, generating a flashcard deck, editing a widget by chat, and the weekly summary. They never run automatically — only when you tap the button for that feature.
What is sent
Only what that request needs:

If an aim takes its numbers from Apple Health (for example daily steps), those numbers are part of that aim's totals and are included when you run chat on that aim or the weekly summary. Nothing is sent unless you start one of these features.
Where it goes
- Our server — a small program running on Cloudflare Workers — receives the request, forwards it to the AI model and returns the answer. It keeps no database. Its operational logs record only technical events (for example “setup succeeded, kind: countdown”), not your text or numbers.
- Cloudflare provides the hosting and AI Gateway that carries the request. Like any network provider it processes your IP address to deliver the request. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
- Anthropic provides the Claude model that writes the answer. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, data sent through its API is not used to train its models; it may be retained for a limited period for safety and abuse monitoring. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
These providers may process data in the United States and other countries where they operate. We don't send your name, email, device identifiers, or anything that identifies you.
Usage statistics
To learn which features help people and where they get stuck, the app sends a small set of anonymous usage events. They are on by default, and you can turn them off at any time in Settings → Your data → Share usage statistics; nothing more is sent after that.
What is sent
- That onboarding was completed, and whether it was done from a sentence or by hand.
- That a widget was created or deleted: its kind (for example countdown or list) and how it was made (sentence, by hand, or an Explore example).
- How many WidgetAim widgets are on your Home Screen and Lock Screen, by size, and how many times the widget buttons were tapped since the last report.
- That the Pro screen was shown and where from, and whether a purchase completed, was cancelled or failed (plan only — never payment details).
- That an AI feature was used: which one, whether it succeeded, and how long it took.
- Which Explore example was opened.
- That the app was installed, opened or updated.
- Context sent with each event: app version, whether it's a TestFlight build, app language, the language, region and time zone set on your iPhone, device model, iOS version, screen size, whether you're on Wi-Fi or cellular, whether Pro is active, and the number of widgets you have.
Never sent: titles, list items, flashcards, sentences you type, chat messages, progress or Health values, bill names or amounts, calendar events, your name, email or any account, and no advertising identifier.
Who processes it
Events go to PostHog, an analytics service, on its EU cloud. Each installation gets a random statistics ID created by the app; it isn't linked to your identity, to your Apple ID or to AI requests, and we never try to identify you from it. Your IP address is discarded when an event arrives and isn't stored. See PostHog's Privacy Policy.
We use these statistics only to improve WidgetAim, never for advertising, and we don't sell or share them. We keep them only as long as they're useful for that purpose.
Apple Health and Calendar
Apple Health
If you connect an aim to Apple Health, WidgetAim asks for permission to read step count, sleep analysis and body weight — only the types that aim needs. The app never writes to Health.
- Health data is read and processed on your iPhone to keep that aim's widget up to date.
- It is never used for advertising, marketing or data mining, never sold, and never shared with anyone for those purposes.
- It is only sent off the device as part of that aim's totals when you run chat or the weekly summary, as described above.
- You can revoke access at any time in the Health app → Sharing → Apps → WidgetAim.
Calendar
If you link a countdown to a calendar event, the app reads your calendar on the device so you can pick the event and to keep the date in sync. Calendar data isn't sent to us or to the AI. You can revoke access in Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendars.
Purchases
Pro is sold through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never see your payment details, name or Apple ID. The app only receives confirmation from Apple that Pro is active on your device. Apple's handling of purchases is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
What we don't do
- No account or sign-in, and we don't ask for your name, email or phone number.
- No crash-reporting or advertising SDKs, and no advertising identifier.
- No tracking across other companies' apps or websites.
- No location, contacts, photos library, microphone or camera access.
- No selling or renting of data, ever.
Siri and Shortcuts requests (such as “Add to my WidgetAim list”) are processed by Apple under Apple's privacy terms; the resulting item is saved on your device.
This website
widgetaim.com uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party scripts or fonts. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard request data such as IP addresses to serve the site and protect it from abuse.
Children
WidgetAim isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. The app doesn't ask anyone for personal information; the only data it sends is described above.
Your rights
Depending on where you live — for example under the EU/UK GDPR, Türkiye's KVKK or California's CCPA — you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your personal data and to object to its processing. Because your data stays on your device and we keep no copy of it or of AI requests, you can exercise these rights directly: view and edit everything in the app, export it with Back up & restore, and delete it by deleting aims or the app. If you have any request or complaint, contact us and we'll respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
The usage statistics carry only a random ID that we can't link to you, so we can't look them up by name or email. Turning off Share usage statistics stops them; deleting the app removes the ID.
Where GDPR applies, the legal basis for processing an AI request is performing the service you asked for (Art. 6(1)(b)), and for usage statistics our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the app (Art. 6(1)(f)); you can object at any time by turning them off.
Security
Requests between the app and our server are encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Data on your iPhone is protected by iOS, including device encryption when your phone is locked.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles data, we'll update this page and the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll mention it in the app's release notes before it takes effect.
