Your monthly bills, paid and unpaid, on your Home Screen
Rent, electricity, phone, the streaming services you forgot about. The bills widget shows what's paid and what's still left this month, and starts fresh on the 1st, so nothing slips through.
How the bills widget works
Add the bills you pay each month. Only the name is required; the amount, the due day and whether it's on autopay are up to you. The widget then shows this month at a glance: how much is paid, how much is left, and which bill is due next.
- Mark it paid from the widgetPaid the rent? Tap it on the widget. No need to open the app.
- Autopay bills tick themselvesMark a bill as autopay and it counts as paid when its due day comes.
- A fresh month on the 1stEvery bill goes back to unpaid at the start of the month, on its own. Last month is kept in the history.
- RemindersA notification the day before a bill is due and on the day, if you turn them on.
Fixed, variable and yearly bills
Not every bill is the same each month. Mark the electricity or gas bill as variable and enter the amount when the bill arrives. Until then, the widget estimates it from last month and shows the total with a “≈”, so you still know roughly what's left to pay. A variable bill without its amount isn't quietly marked paid from the widget; the app asks you for the amount instead.
Yearly bills, like insurance, a domain or an annual subscription, appear only in the month they renew.
Closed months build up a history, so you can compare this month with the last few and spot the subscription that crept up in price.
Set it up in one line
Type your bills the way you'd say them, like “rent 1,200 on the 1st, internet 45, phone 30, Netflix 15.99”, and with WidgetAim Pro the app turns the line into a bills widget for you. Adding them one by one is always free.
Glanceable, not a budgeting app
This isn't a bank-linked budgeting tool, and that's on purpose. There's no account, no bank login, and nothing leaves your iPhone except your own iCloud backup. It does one job: making sure the bills you know about are paid, every month, with a glance at your Home Screen.
The Lock Screen widget shows the next bill due, and on Apple Watch you can mark a bill paid from your wrist.
Questions
Is there a bill reminder widget for iPhone?
Yes. WidgetAim's bills widget shows what's paid and what's left this month on your Home Screen and Lock Screen, and can remind you the day before and on the due day.
Does it connect to my bank?
No. You add your bills yourself, and the data stays on your iPhone and your own iCloud backup.
What happens at the start of a new month?
Every bill goes back to unpaid on the 1st, automatically. Bills on autopay mark themselves paid on their due day.
Can I track bills in different currencies?
Each bills widget uses one currency. If you pay bills in two currencies, make two widgets.
Can I track annual subscriptions?
Yes. Set the month a yearly bill renews and it shows up only in that month.
