Goal tracker widget

A goal tracker widget that fits the goal you actually have

“Learn Japanese”, “save for a trip” and “run a marathon in April” are three very different goals. A single progress bar fits none of them well. WidgetAim gives each kind of goal its own widget, and keeps it on your Home Screen where you can't forget it.

Which widget fits your goal?

Your goal sounds like…WidgetOn the widget
“Learn 500 Spanish words”FlashcardsToday's card; tap to reveal, mark known or again
“Exam on June 3”, “Trip in 60 days”CountdownDays left, with reminders before the day
“Save $3,000”, “Run 200 km”NumberProgress, pace, + to add
“Meditate every morning”HabitYour week and streak, tap to check in
“Pack for Lisbon”ListItems left, tick off on the widget
“Pay every bill on time”BillsPaid and left this month
“Speak at the café in Madrid”SentencesReal sentences to say out loud
“10,000 steps a day”Apple Health (Pro)Fills itself in from Health

Many real goals are a mix. Learning a language before a trip might be a flashcard deck, a sentence set and a countdown to the flight, three widgets side by side or stacked in one spot.

Why a widget, not another app

Goal apps fail in a predictable way: the goal is set with enthusiasm, the app is opened every day for a week, and then it isn't. The goal hasn't changed; it just isn't in front of you anymore. A widget fixes the part that breaks. Your goal sits on the screen you look at dozens of times a day, and updating it takes a tap on the widget itself.

That's also why WidgetAim's scenes play only when your number changes and then rest. A widget that wiggles all day becomes wallpaper. One that moves when you make progress is a small reward you notice.

Say it in one sentence

You can always set a goal up by hand with a short form. With WidgetAim Pro, just type it, like “save $3,000 for Japan by March” or “read 12 books this year”, and the app picks the right kind of widget, fills in the numbers and suggests a scene. Everyone gets one free AI try. You can also edit a widget later by chatting with it, and get a weekly summary written from your own numbers.

Questions

What is the best goal tracker widget for iPhone?

One that matches the goal. A countdown suits a date, a progress number suits savings or distance, a daily check-in suits a habit, and flashcards suit learning. WidgetAim has all of these as widgets, so each goal gets the right one.

Can I see several goals in one widget?

Yes. The Overview widget shows your goals at a glance in one place. You can also stack several widgets in a Smart Stack and swipe between them.

Do I need an account?

No. There's no sign-up. Your goals stay on your iPhone, with a backup in your own iCloud.

Does it work on iPad or Mac?

WidgetAim is made for iPhone, with an Apple Watch app. It needs iOS 17 or later; the watch app needs watchOS 26 or later.
