A to-do list widget you can tick off without opening an app
Some lists matter for a week or two: packing for a trip, moving house, getting ready for a launch. WidgetAim puts that list on your Home Screen, lets you tick items off right on the widget, and shows how close you are to done.
Lists with a finish line
WidgetAim lists are made for things you want to finish, not an inbox that never empties. Each list is its own widget and its own goal: the list is done when every item is ticked. The widget shows what's left and how far along you are, and a scene to match, like a suitcase that fills as you pack.
- Packing“Pack for Lisbon”: passport, adapter, sunscreen, chargers.
- Moving houseChange the address, book the van, cancel the internet, return the keys.
- ShoppingWhat you need for the weekend, or the gifts still to buy.
- ProjectsThe last ten things before a launch, a renovation, or the end of term.
Tick items off right on the widget
Tap an item on the widget and it's checked off, without opening the app. Ticked an item by mistake? Tap it again. Medium and large widgets show more of the list at once; small widgets show what's next and how many are left. On Apple Watch, tick items off from your wrist.
Add items with Siri
Say “Add to my WidgetAim list” and tell Siri what to add, without opening the app. The same action is in the Shortcuts app, so you can build it into your own shortcuts: a button on your Home Screen, or an automation when you arrive at the shop.
Start from a sentence
Writing the list yourself is always free. With WidgetAim Pro, describe it instead, like “packing list for a week in Lisbon in May”, and AI drafts the items for you to edit. Everyone gets one free AI try.
Keep it small
A widget can't hold a hundred tasks, and that's the point. Put the list that matters this week on your Home Screen, give it a name that says what done looks like, and let the widget keep it in sight. When it’s finished, clear it out or start the next one.
Questions
Can I check off items from the iPhone Home Screen?
Yes. WidgetAim list widgets are interactive: tap an item on the widget to tick it off, and tap again to undo.
Can Siri add items to my list?
Yes. Say “Add to my WidgetAim list”, or use the same action in the Shortcuts app.
Is it a full task manager?
No. It's for lists with a finish line, like packing, moving or shopping, kept in sight on your Home Screen. For projects with due dates and subtasks, a task manager is a better fit.
Can I share a list with someone?
Not at the moment. Lists stay on your iPhone and your own iCloud backup.
Is the list widget free?
Yes. Lists you write yourself are part of the free plan, which includes up to 3 widgets.
